When I heard that Growlanser Generations was coming to the states, I was flipping tables over in excitement. I saw there was the game and a deluxe additions that came with some other nifty stuff. The price was steep ($100+taxes), but I wanted it because of the sweet chain and ring. Yeah I was wearing it around my neck school. The ring was so awesome, I’ll have to take a picture of it and show you its majesty one day. How about I talk about the “soundtrack” now. All the tracks on here are all arrangements of a select few that were taken from both games. I think two to three tracks towards the end of the album is original. Normally I stick with liking the original more, but the scale was full tilt towards this album. I loved every track and arrangement more than the originals. Rarely happens, so this track definitely gets a handshake and a pat on the back from me.
I’m debating if I should post a megaupload to the soundtrack, or make you purchase the Deluxe edition like I did. Comments to make me change my mind. Possibly provide Flac or at least 320kb MP3s. I’m throwing this post under Game Albums and Soundtracks, mostly because I felt there was a tie in both those departments. What do I give this Album anyways? I give it:
